2013 HOME TOUR PARTICIPANT
This is a very unique South Minneapolis home! Originally built as a farmhouse in 1912, the family room & master bedroom / bathroom are part of a 1950’s addition, which included an elevator. The previous owners had several children with polio & the elevator allowed them to utilize the basement space. Unused for years, the current homeowners decided to eliminate that and expand the kitchen & master bath / closet. The design keeps the farmhouse style in mind, while including modern conveniences like a wine fridge and quartz countertops. Meanwhile, the bathroom & closet are now more suited to the homeowner’s personal taste.
